M.Ed. Clinical Mental Health
SandTray Therapist-Trainer
Certified School Counselor
Child Centered Play Therapist
Animal Assisted Therapist
Hives For Heroes Mentor

With over 30 years of experience across education, libraries, and mental health, I bring a deep understanding of human growth, resilience, and the power of connection to my therapy practice. My journey began in the classroom, where I spent 10 years as a teacher, guiding young minds through learning and discovery. I then transitioned into the library, fostering a love of reading and research for another decade. Each of these roles strengthened my belief in the importance of safe, nurturing spaces—something I now provide in my work as a counselor and therapist.

For the past 10 years, I’ve served as a licensed counselor, combining traditional therapeutic techniques with creative and evidence-based approaches. As a Registered Sandtray Therapist and Trainer, I help clients of all ages explore and express their inner world when words fall short. I'm also trained in Play Therapy and Animal-Assisted Therapy, believing deeply in the healing power of play, imagination, and human-animal connection.

In addition to private practice, I mentor through Hives for Heroes, supporting veterans and first responders as they navigate the path to wellness. I am a fierce advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves—children, trauma survivors, individuals with special needs, and others whose voices deserve to be heard.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that every person has the capacity to heal when met with empathy, respect, and the right tools. Whether you or your child are facing anxiety, grief, behavioral concerns, or simply need a space to feel safe and seen, I am here to walk alongside you.

Healing Through Compassion

Empowering Advocacy For All

Why Honey Just Bee?

Honey Just Bee was born out of a deep appreciation for what honey bees symbolize — community, compassion, and purpose. Bees work collectively for the good of the hive, each doing their part with care and intention. They remind us that healing and growth thrive in connection, empathy, and service to something greater than ourselves.

Just like the honey bee, Honey Just Bee stands for advocacy, empathy, and putting others first. Therapy is not just about overcoming challenges — it’s about finding sweetness and strength in who you are, just as you are. The word honey represents kindness, healing, and the nurturing power of care, while just bee is a gentle reminder to slow down, be present, and embrace authenticity.  At Honey Just Bee, the goal is to create a space where everyone is valued, heard, and supported with compassion. Here, you’re encouraged not to chase perfection, but to simply be — to exist, grow, and find peace within your own story.
